After re-launching his career with is new automobile line, his former partners sued him for trademark infringement, since he was still using his last name. German court ordered Horck to disregard using his last name because it belonged to his former company. This led to a meeting between Horch and his current partners. During the reunion, one of his partners son, suggested translating his last name into Latin Audi. It was successful suggestion from his part.
In September 1921, Audi became the first German car manufacturer to present a production car, with left-handed drive (the Audi Type K). Left-hand provided a better view of oncoming traffic, to the driver. Therefore, a much safer ride.

Germany. It became a great success, and Augus me. Horch made a name for himself. His company grew, soon, cars were being built for the entire continent of Europe. However, in 1909,after a sneaky move by one of Horch's partners, the founder of Horch was forced out of the company. That didn't stop Horch from building a new company once again. Even though he still used his last name as the companies brand name.
