PORSCHE STORE Doktor Ingenieur Ferdinand Porsche Aktiengesellschaft, also known as the autocompany Prosche SE is a German luxury high performance product which is majority owned by Piëch and Porsche families around Europe. The headquarter of such company is located in the city of Zuffenhausen, a city district of Stuttgard, Baden-Württemberg.
Porsche was founded back in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche. Porsche was an Austro-Hungarian engineer. Actually, it was Ferninand Porsche and his colegues who designed the first Volkswagen vehicle. The company currently features the following vehiciles: 911 (997), Boxste, and Cayman
Volkswagen and Porsche SE have signed and agreement on August 2011 which states their union in 2011.
Professor Ferdinand Porsche started his company in 1930. At first, his company only offered motor vehicle development work and consulting. During the begining, however, Propfessor Porsche didn’t build any vehicles. It was only when the German government asked him to design a vehicle fo the Volkswagen company did he begin. The resuts was a very succesful car design still known as one of the most outstanding car designs of all time: the Volkswagen Beetle. The first Porsche car, the Porsche 64 was created in 1939.
During World War II, Porsche produced many designes for the military devisions most of them heavy tanks. However, rival designing group Henschel & Son ultimatelly won the contracts that led to the German military tanks: Tiger I and Tiger II. At the end of WWII in 1945, Ferdinand was arrested for war crimes, but wasn’t sentenced to deach. However, he had to be enprisones for 20 months. During his enjailment, Ferdinand Porsche’s son. Ferry Porsche, started to build his own car. It was a very hard time for the company until Ferdinand’s release in August 1947. The first model every created was known as the 356 which was built in Austria. The 356 became the first Porsche vehicle because it was the first model sold by the company. 356 became road certifies by 1948.
In January 1951 Ferdinand Porsche died from complicatioins which was followed by a stroke.

In 1964, Porsche had a fairly succesful racing experience with their vehicle known as the Porsche 550 Spyder. Porsche later launched another sports car known as the Porsche 911. The most iconic model in the Porsche’s designes is the 911. It brought them a lot of successs in race- tracks, rallies and in sales. Porsche SE is still building the 911 but the only common concept, comparing the new models with the orignal/vintage model, is the basic mechanical concept of a rear-engined, six cylinder coupe. Porsche’s 912 is fairly similar to the 911. 912 is a cheaper version of the 911 model.
In 1972, Ferry Porsche and his sister, Louise Piëch, decided to change the company from limited partnership to public limited company. They did so, because they felt that their family members of their generation did no t team up well. Soon, no family member had operational charge of the company. This led to different branches in the Porsche industry such as sunglasses, watches, furniture, and other luxury articles.
In 1990, Porsche and Toyota decided to benefit from each other working on hybrid technology. It is rumored that both comapnies willl launch a Hybrid Cayenne SUV, a four-door cuple, the Porsche Panamera.
Porsche introduced the Cayenne in 2002. It was a very popular designe which marked the second most powerful production engine in the history of Porsche. The most powerful production engine belonged to the Carrera GT.
In 2004, production of the 612 horsepower (456 kW; 620 PS) Carrera GT started in Europe. Its cost was over U$ 440,000 and it became Porsche’s most expensive production model ever built.
